Hello my crafty friends!!!

I am super excited because My Craft Spot  is having a blog hop today!!!! It was a week long party but the hop is today and today is the day we can purchase all the fun new stamp and metal die sets, so put on your crafty party hats and come hop with me!!!

This blog is my most recent new love, the DT is truly amazing and their projects and off the radar and don't get me started on the products, I can guarantee that eventually I will have everything in that store.

"Sending Happy Thoughts" Card using Spellbinders

Hello  Everyone,

So happy you dropped by today!.

I am showing you a card that I made to put into my card collection to have on hand for someone either going through a rough time or not feelin so hot.

The clear stamp I used was a gift from Christina from Flowers Ribbons and Pearls, called "Fairies of the Season" by Sarah Williams, isn't she beautiful!!! I colored her using Spectrum Noir Pens and luckily it is a small stamp so the flaws are hidden , yeah still not so good at coloring.

I folded the Spellbinder leaves and inked them to make them look more realisitic and dabbed the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts with Gold Stickles from Ranger. I also used  stickles around the Spellbinders Scalloped circle. For the sentiment I used cuts from the cricut cartridge " Bloom"

Bit By the Bug: Another Bug is Born...Budding Love

Welcome to the final week in our Love is in the Air collection of new releases.  I hope that the love that you receive and the love you give continues to blossom throughout time.  The next image being released in this new collection is another great one for showing that extra special person in your life, just what they mean to you...

Aren't digi stamps wonderful?  You can take one stamp and people can have different interpretations of it.  While Naomi had originally intended that this image be of two ants, both Monica and Vicky saw bees.  It once again proves just how versatile stamps can be.  Oh and if you are wondering why the image is called, "Budding Love", it is because when ants reproduce, it is called budding.  Apparently this male ant is all set to get his groove on tonight.

Even Naomi had the opportunity to create a card...

 How adorable!  Love the contrast of the dark ants with the white and also that wonderful diecut frame with its edges inked in the corresponding blue we find in the coloured version of the image.  Great sentiment too!

is about to launch!!!

We are having a party and you are invited.

Creative Bug Digital Snapshots is going to have a month long challenge starting on March  5th!  As many of you know, things have been changing around here.  So, in celebration of this new direction, we thought that we would kick it off with a special month long 'New Beginnings Celebration Challenge'.
